Hound Dog Attachments Offer Snow Plow / Earth Grader Blades For Tractors and Utility Vehicles of All Makes and Models .
Blades are Offered in Several Different Mounting Options:
- Quick Attach Subframe Mounted to Tractor Frame
- Loader Pin-On Mounting
- Universal Skid Steer Mounting
- JD Quick Attach Mounting
Blades are Available in Standard Duty or Heavy Duty Configurations. Standard Duty Plow Blades Have Moldboards that are Constructed of 11 Guage Material, while Heavy Duty Blades Have Moldboards that are Constructed of 7 Guage Steel.

...the snowblade is from the fine folks at Michigan Iron and Equipment. ....the blade uses the same hydrualic controls as the Loader. You remove the Loader and Loader Arms, then install the blade. The blade mounting has four flat pieces which remain on the tractor; these did not get in the way of anything else I did thoughout the summer.
..I have to compliment Michigan Iron and Equipment who had no problem putting together an order for shipment...when you compare to the treatment you might get from some...companies..with call centers doing their "cutomer service", dealing with a ...dedicated...company is a breath of fresh air.
I went with industrial tires instead of turf.....my Michigan Iron snowblade continues to work perfectly...the hydraualic angling is the cat's derrierre.

Subframe Mount Plow Blades
Subframe Mounted Plow Blades are the Most Common Mounting System for Tractor Plow Blades. Subframe Mounting is Advantageous Over Loader Mounting Because it Brings the Blade in Closer to the Tractor and Distributes the Load of the Snow Through the Middle of the Tractor, Giving the Operator Much More Control While Plowing.
Subframe Systems Require the Front End Loader to be Dropped off of The Tractor if Applicable, and then Quick Attach to the Tractor Frame. One Pin in the Front of the Tractor and Two Pins on the Bottom Side of the Transmission Case are all that Need to be Pulled to Drop the Blade From the Tractor.
Hydraulic Lift and Angling are Standard on Subframe Mount Systems. These Hydraulic Functions are Controlled From the Front End Loader Joystick on the Operator Platform.
All Hydraulics are Included in Pricing Including Hydraulic Quick Connects to Front End Loader Control Valve.
