HOUND DOG GRAPPLES
Michigan Iron and Equipment manufactures skid steer quick attach, john deere quick attach, and direct loader pin-on grapples for brush / debris / log handling. These open bottom grapples open wide enough to handle a 32” diameter log while closing tight enough to clamp down on a 11” diameter log. Tines are made of ½” steel on a typical center of 10”.
Models are available in a single top (single cylinder) or dual top (dual cylinder) configuration. Dual top configurations are advantageous for handling misshapen objects as the two sides can clamp down separately.
